PROPER ATTIRE ON THE GOLF COURSE

The dress code for Thunderbird golf calls on all players—members and guests alike-- to dress in a way that demonstrates respect for the history and reputation of Thunderbird, for other players, and for the game of golf. When you have a tee time at Thunderbird, or use the driving range, putting greens, or practice facilities, it is your personal responsibility to follow the dress code policy. Thunderbird operates with a quiet confidence that reflects pride in our rich history and timeless but modern approach to life—and golf, and our dress code reflects those qualities.

We expect all golfers to use good judgment and to wear clothing that is meant for golf. Men’s golf shirts are to have collars and should be tucked into neat looking pants or shorts. Women golfers are expected to wear golf attire that is manufactured as golf wear, with a collared or mock-neck golf shirt. No denim. Billed caps and visors are to be worn with bills forward. Shoes with soft spikes are required to prevent damage to the golf course.

CELL PHONE AND ELECTRONIC DEVICES

Non-audible use of cell phones and personal electronic devices are permitted throughout the Club. Audible use of cell phones and personal electronic devise are permitted in the parking lot, phone booths, exterior entrance to the Men’s and Women’s Locker Rooms, and the Administrative Office or in emergency situations.
